Keep going…even when no one is watching

You start your business, write your book, or create some social media content. It’s so awesome, you just know that everybody’s gonna love it, and then…nothing. No sales, no clients, no likes. You and I know that this is a gut-punch- to our heart, our ego, and our confidence. It might even discourage us. Especially when we see others selling their products, going viral, and seemingly being successful. These are merely distractions that can stop you from achieving your goals. The moment we start focusing on other people's success, that’s the moment we’ve gotten off track.

You have so much going for yourself, you just need to continue to work on your goals. In recent months, I have turned the T.V. off and disabled my social media notifications. This has helped me to focus more and accomplish many goals. Consuming other people’s work, lives, and content doesn't get you any closer to your dreams. During those slow seasons, remember your “why”. That will keep you motivated to push through. We have to get to the point where we are creating, promoting, and working even when no one is responding. Consider it rehearsal or prep work because when the day that consistency meets opportunity…you’re gonna be winning, Baby! Winning at whatever you’ve been working towards. Just keep going, eventually all of your hard work will pay off. As always…I’m rooting for you.
